Australia’s leading broadcast captioning provider and speech-to-text innovator, Ai-Media, has sustained its record high quality and captioning uptime scores. For the quarter ending 30 September 2016, Ai-Media recorded quality results over 99.5%, and uptime exceeding 99.9% in the latest independent quality audit.

The result announced today is based on the auditor scoring 13 television programs at random across services delivered to Nine Network Australia. Quality is assessed using NER methodology (Number, Edition error and Recognition error), which measures the speed of captions, the delay between speech and caption text, and the number and types of errors.
