JENNIFER HERZOG: Hello, my name is Jennifer Herzog. I’m here to share some exciting news with you. It's about the sport called Eskrima. It's also known as Arnis or Kali. This sport is weapons-based fighting with sticks, knives, staffs, and many more weapons.

Now, I'm here to tell you - last April, I competed in the National Tournament to get a spot in the USA team so I could then go to the World Championships. I competed in the Nationals and won a spot in the team. I also was the first Deaf competitor. Exciting!

Now, I want to invite everyone especially the Deaf community to go to see me compete in Maui, Hawaii. The spectator fee is around $10 to see me compete. I would love to meet everybody.
