Automate your Echo360 Closed Captioning and Transcriptions Workflow

Integration between Echo360 and Ai-Media provides universities and colleges with an efficient option for closed captioning and transcription of video learning content through Echo360's Active Learning Platform

Ai-Media has partnered with Echo360 for many years to automate workflows for the easy delivery of closed captions and transcription for universities and colleges.

This partnership now includes full-circle integration within Echo360 ALP. The fully automated workflow will expand access to lecture recordings and other video learning content by streamlining the transcription and closed captioning processes.

Universities and colleges can flag courses, modules or individual recordings for captions and transcripts. The Echo360 platform then takes care of the rest, automatically transferring the recorded lecture directly to Ai-Media for the creation of closed captions and/or transcriptions. Once completed, these files are automatically added back to the lecture recording.

Tony Abrahams, CEO says “We’re focused on developing solutions that support our university and college clients to save them time. Together with Echo360, we’ve leveraged technology to make the process of ordering and delivering captions and transcripts effortless.”

“Echo360 is committed to and actively working to ensure content is accessible to all students within our solution through partnerships and product innovation,” says Jocasta Williams, General Manager of Echo360 in Asia Pacific. “By partnering with Ai-Media, we’re pleased to offer our clients an integrated option for closed captioning and transcription of recorded lectures.”

Captions and transcripts are important tools for all students. Captions provide access for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students and provide all students with the ability to search lectures within the Echo360 platform.

About Echo360: Echo360 believes that improved outcomes start with great moments in the classroom. Developed by educators, Echo360 helps instructors capture and extend those moments to improve student engagement before, during, and after class. Through our video and engagement platform, students have 24/7 access to classroom discussion, presentation materials, and the lecture itself. We generate data that helps instructors and institutions identify problems early and take action. Today, Echo360 technologies are used by over 3M students in 11,000 classrooms at 750 institutions across 30 countries. Echo360 is backed by Revolution Growth led by Steve Case, Ted Leonsis, and Donn Davis.
