Ai-Media Scores Over 99% in Latest Independent Captioning Quality Audit

Ai-Media has scored 99.3% in the latest independent captioning quality audit, as measured by the international NER benchmark. The result is the Company’s fifth consecutive quarterly score greater than 99%.

Ai-Media is the first and only Australian captioning provider to support its clients with an independent external auditor to assure quality for their viewers.

Ai-Media provides captioning for broadcasters including Nine Network Australia, Foxtel, Fox Sports Australia, Australian News Channel (Sky News), Discovery, and others. The audit result announced today is for Ai-Media’s fifth quarter of service to the Nine Network ending March 2015, based on the auditor scoring 13 television programs at random.

NER - Number, Edition error and Recognition error - measures the speed of captions, the delay between speech and caption text, and the number and types of errors.
