Ai-Media has continued to deliver high quality broadcast captioning, according to the results of the latest independent audit of its captioning services across Nine Network Australia programs. With content selected at random, 13 programs were evaluated on the international NER scale during the  April to June 2017 quarter. NER - Number, Edition error and Recognition error - measures the speed of captions, the delay between speech and caption text, and the number and types of errors. Ai-Media appointed an independent auditor in 2012 to assure quality across its services and is the first Australian captioning provider to do so. Caption quality audit results have consistently exceeded 99.5% on average over the past 18 months.
